Ray-tracing?
Spencer said on Wired that this game is supporting ray-tracing, i wonder if it's Xbox Series only or is it pc too? it has dx12 on pc and get 50-60fps on 1440p which makes me think it has ray-tracing, but i would like an official anwser

I don't that what made me interested

What? lol I think you're saying you don't see RT setting and RT is what made you interested in the game?

I don't comma or period might help. Plus a 's. I think lol
I don't see RT setting i assumed since spencer said to wired that this game supports rt and i guess it does supported which is why it running in dx12, i just want an official answer( and maybe a button to turn it off and on)

Sorry to revive this, but I just googled for games that have ray-tracing, and this game was on this list:

https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/games-support-nvidia-ray-tracing/

Has it been introduced since this thread, please?

I played the game a while back, and liked it very much, so I'll probably play it again at some point. If there is ray-tracing now, that'd be a nice bonus! :lunar2019smilingpig:

Nope i don't think so, with the developer already working on the next game it probably wont be, i think they either forgot to or just didn't bother which is fine both ways, it's maybe possible to try and mod it in with Universal Unreal Unlocker? but the best you could do is probably enable ue4 screenspace GI if force RT through console isn't going to work

:steamthis: Thanks for the info. No big deal, was just curious.

I found another more recent list of ray traced games where it wasn't mentioned, so.

Most of games with ray tracing are mainly action games, I notice, so would be nice to see this one with it. But I only have a mid-spec PC for ray tracing anyway (specs in profile), causing big performance hits and noisy fans, so it will probably become more interesting in the future, both for me and developers... :steamsunny:

Also, this game is pretty as it is!

Btw, the game 'Stray' has kind of 'hidden' ray tracing if you start it with the -DX12 parameter in the command line in Steam, bur suffers heavily performance-wise when doing so (for me, at least). But that also looks beautiful without it.
