nothing.. but i can see why you would think that.
all good.
all the best.
i have the first one.. yet to dig into it. have it on my steam deck for travel. might give it an earlier go. have heard several with good shouts.
cheers.
hi..
good question.. i wrote in a different post, the game reminds me of KoA, Torchlight II and a touch of WoW. all for different reasons really. it reminds me of KoA mostly for the combat. The weighty attacks, clear visuals and enemy telegraphs.. and a much better camera. it's 3rd person perspective with similar dodge and jump mechanics as well. the combat is clean and responsive, with a "less is more" skill set. i have 700hrs in KoA (no longer available version) and loved the experience mostly for the combat and weapon diversity. chakras, staff, hammer.. ect.. all very distinct and well done. i get the same feels with the weapons in wayfinder.
game world has a WoW touch to it, and the game gives the player a house (apartment) to design and furnish. the world is large and colorful.. well done, with its cool art direction.
the game loop is more like an arpg though.. where torchlight II has a map system, Wayfinder goes a slightly different routine, but can satisfy a grind/reward fetish well enough. some people may not like it though. it does leave room for a quick play session in between main games.
it really does deserve a look, if you like any of those games. i would never try to take anything away from KoA.. Kingdoms is easily one of my favorite games in the RPG space, and that feeling of wondering what could have been stings. Wayfinder found its new beginnings kind of the same way.. transitioning from a failed published mmo into what it is today. there are several youtube vids on it.. i would give them a look if still interested.
all the best.
edit: it needs to be edited also that Wayfinder is not as expansive as KoA either.. but could be someday. the replay value is easily there though. cheers.
recommendations usually come after release and it will have a big patch before release that will change a lot of things and wipe current saves after that saves should be fine for even after 1.0 comes this year.
Asterigos the curse of the stars play style is very similar to Amalur problem i have with that game is lack of good map and the saving system.
nvm they just had a bundle for sale i got confused.

hi..
if you're asking on wayfinder.. it has online coop, or can be played solo offline. solo offline similar to KoA.
all the best.
