i bought it because i like amalur and wanted more
-Added enemy/loot scaling so you don't do a side quest at level 20 and fight level 5 enemies with trash loot
-Added a 'very hard' difficulty setting. Still easier than dark souls, but quite fun with dodging and parrying enemies.
Ennemy scale and loot scale are the worst thing ever made in RPG. That's the only thing I hate in TESO. Is there a way to disable it?
If not, I think I don't gonna buy the game. It's just stupid to have levelscaling in a video game. We have no power progression at all, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and easy from the start to the end -.-
Ohhh okay, good to know. It's a little bit like zones in Grim Dawn. That's cool. The ennemies loot probably follow the max level of the zone? And the chest, even in low level zone are scaled to the player, even if the player is way above the zone level, i'm right?
Depends on the game tbh. In Elden Ring, scaling would be terrible, but in this games there's tons of side quests that take you back and forth between areas.
Generally I would prefer no scaling, but it depends on the circumstance. For example, Diablo 4 has scaling in the open world, but most end game activities don't have scaling.
