DLC level range.
Any idea what the level range for the DLC content are? I'd rather avoid overleveling them but at the same time I don't want to overlevel the regular content either so I'm thinking about doing them later to minimize the impact.

I would wait and do both after you finish all the main game content. I always did that in the original, but it's honestly not that critical. If you do the Teeth of Naros while in Ettinmere, you will definitely be many levels higher than recommended though for the main game. Legend of Dead Kel requires you to be a minimum of level 10 before you can even do it. I would also wait to do that one. Just finish all the main stuff and then run around in the two DLC.

Zones now scale when you (re)enter them so you can't overlevel them, at least no to the extent that you could in the original version of the game. So aside f ok the level requirements for watering the content I wouldn't really worry so much about when you do them.

Zones still have a level range. The first zone with Gorhart has a max level of 12 for example depending on difficulty. I'm also curious if the dlc areas level with the player up to 40 now.

Yes they do, I was level 40 when I did Teeth, and wow I was getting my butt kicked big time, completely overwhelmed.
I recommend doing it a couple of levels above the required.

I'm aware there's still a range for each zone however a zone is no longer locked at the level it is when you first enter it hence my cment about extent. Lower level areas will still be possible to massively overlevel but it will become increasingly more difficult to overlevel areas as you progress due to the higher ranges.

loot is odd with the rescaling though.
I would definitely wait until minumun level of 37 before entering the DLC areas if you want to get the best gear.
