My Alchemy Recipes folio disappeared?
Per title. At some point, my Alchemical Recipes folio disappeared from inventory, and now my Items inventory is swamped with recipe pages and, weirdly, a bunch of Unstable Potions that I can't drink, sell, or move to Junk/destroy.

Anyone know what happened?

Are you playing the Fatesworn dlc...? If you are, there is a side mission when you get to the place where the big doors are closed and there is a large temporary camp.

There is a guy there who is being picked on for talking about "you", the hero.. IF you did his side quest then that is where you lost your recipes.

When you fight with one of the people picking on him the game removes everything from you, supposedly so you fight with fists and no weapons, and afterwards gives it back. However it does not return your recipe pouch..

Aha! Yes, I've been doing that DLC, and I did just do that sidequest when I posted this. Okay.
I don't know what changes later, but my folio eventually came back... however, my Items inventory is still swamped with recipe pages and those weird untouchable Unstable Potions. Makes scrolling through it a chore. :steamfacepalm:

yeah I thought so... I told them what that sidequest does but they don't care about fixing things it seems.. Glad you got them back tho, even if it is a mess..

If you play through again just skip that quest.. What annoys me is that I actually liked doing that quest for the popor guy being bullied, but it's not worth the hassle..
Honestly, I just quit. Shortly afterward, I got to a step in a quest where I had to expose an old lady for slave trafficking. After I found her secret, she and her guards attacked me; I killed her guards, but she just wouldn't die. No HP, but wouldn't die. I looked around, and there's no reason; she's supposed to die. So I finally hit that point where I'm like "this game just has too many bugs" and I quit.

I don't hate it, but the many, many bugs turned an alright experience into death by a thousand papercuts.

I think it's a great game, but the fatesworn dlc is just garbage. It ruined the game in my opinion. Whilst these "new" devs fixed a few bugs here and there, there is a lot they did not fix or care about fixing.. Fatesworn was just a crappy cash grab..
To anyone who might have this issue like I did, this is what I've found out. Alchemical Recipes folio does disappear when doing the quest but it can come back when you (I think) buy a new recipe. For me, I bought Chaos potion recipes. They went into the folio while everything else stayed in my items inventory. After doing this, if you get yourself into trouble and go to jail, when you reclaim your gear, the recipes that were in your items inventory will return back to the folio. I hope this helps.
