Main game cap is 40 but after that is 50 with Fatesworn.
Skill with trainers and skill books you can max everything.
Abilities you get 150 at lvl 50.

Do you have to do something to hit 50? Because I'm at 40, and I see the XP bar, except not gaining XP anymore.

You have to start the fatesworn content. (Beat the og game and read the letter).
