Set Shadow quality to normal.
That seemed to fix the slight lag ingame I was having.
And if you are referring to attacks, they pause between clicks, each click of the mouse is a separate attack so there is a slight pause, depending on how fast you click.
Although you don't normally freeze in place.
Turning off supersampling and doing the following optimization seemed to correct the issue and now it runs really smooth.

Jesus Christ, this is super awkward - I was wondering what on earth was going on with my character, because it feels like an offline lag... and it's all because of terrible programming in the original game - I cannot fathom how somebody thought that tying player character to other character's combat "slowdowns" would be a good idea.
Thanks for the explanation, I was looking everywhere to see if anybody solved this, because bunch of people are getting confused and offering solutions, as if this was a framerate issue, and making this more confused in return, helping no one.
