If I uninstall, will I lose my Character if I reinstall the game?
Just wanted to ask this real fast since I Googled this question and couldn't find an answer. I'm limited on space for my PC, so I uninstall my games quite often and reinstall them if I want to play them again. I just want to make sure I won't lose my progress if I do uninstall. Thanks guys.

Just make sure the saves are on your steam cloud then you can always get them back.

No.
Steam cloud is sucks. See at https://steamcommunity.com/app/1041720/discussions/0/3011179244456837619/

Make manual backup in other folder.

Yikes. Ok, thanks for that.

For the love of sanity, do NOT use cloud, ever.
There's no way to know if a game's uninstall will perform a complete Directory wipe until you actually click the button, and then it's too late. So like the other person said, it's best to make your own hard backup and store it outside of the game's directory.

I'm sure you're all right. I guess I've lucked out so far though. I've never lost a save due to it not being stored in the cloud. I don't plan on uninstalling this game any time soon, but I plan on it once I beat it and will reinstall when the new DLC comes out. I'll just make a back up just in case though. Better safe than sorry and all that jazz.

So far (and I've been using Steam for a bunch of yrs now), I've never had a problem with Steam Cloud... (knock on wood...).

Yeah, I know... I didn't really say that it works 100% for everyone...I stated that it has, so far, for me, worked.. :)

Same (like you, *Knocks on wood*). I just wanted to know if anyone had done it yet and if it's possible. I'll just make a physical save just in case. :)

I make backup copies of my save. Have always been doing that forever, never know what cloud save will do.
Had cloud save download an older save, which failed upload new save. Loaded game, lost all my game play.

Cloud saves are shockingly bad. I always disable them for a newly installed game and back up local files as required.
