Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning

Cant complete Long Overdue.
Hey all, ive got an issue with the quest in question.
Ive recovered all of brother tils books, and have the marker to return them, however, i think i accidentally sold one to a merchant at some point, as im missing volume 9 and its neither in my inventory or my stash.
This would not be an issue, but the marker now only points to the bookcase in gorhart, meaning its nearly impossible to find the last book.
I dont suppose theres anything i can to find it, aside from checking every single merchant in the game, which could take a while.

Til's Collection IX - Found in a bookshelf in Edmure Home located in Emaire on the Forsaken Plain, Plains of Erathell.

But even you cannot finish it, you will not miss anything special. The Exp is extremely low (lv 1 area) an no special reward, there is not even a achievement.

One helpful note:
In Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning if you sell and buy back the books, the quest can become bugged by counting it towards the quest. You can still finish the quest by finding all of the books by using the locations mentioned above, but you won't have the location markers to help you.

did you check all the vendors shops listings?(each npc keeps everything you sold to them for resell...but don't remember if they purge those items from their shops over time though)

Yeah thats what id have to do, and itll take ages. plus there are some vendors that arent in map marked locations.

You can only sell the book to vendor that buys stolen items.

Welp, i just checked all the known fences, and i still cant seem to find it. that sucks. The only thing i can think of is the merchant in sun camp, but hes unavailable after finishing the traveller questline. so if he has it, its gone forever. which sucks.

my spelling sucks i well try though...adessa

edit each camp has someone there that sell/buys....star and moon camp, forget name of third camp but it is before you get to adessa. there also fence under the city of Rathir.

if you can't find it, send your save to dev. and explain your problem to them....maybe they could add it to your inventory.

You think that's bad, I accidentally junked and destroyed one of the books, and realized like 40 hours too late. xP

Same thing happened to me lol. Missing 1 book, which I apparently sold accidentally. NO way am I ploughing through every single vendor in the game. Never picking this quest up again lmao.

Please save your sanity, don't do this quest. It's the absolute worst reward for the longest quest in the game. You get like a pitty 1k gold or something like that and that's it. Made me murder all those bastard monks on the spot.
