"Phantom Edge" Dodge Attack?

I swear this skill only works on Ettins when you use it when they swipe at you with a back hand. Any other time I've used it I take the full hit and get ♥♥♥♥♥.

and I sat there doing it at different times during their swings.

Whats with this crappy ability?

I think it only works on specific attacks. I've dodged Kobolds & Murghan with it as well as ettins, and I've dodged sprites too. But anything which attacks vertically or belly flops will get me when I use it.

Thats what I was starting to think. Shame that lot of Verticlals have like 1 Frame of animation cuz its a old game XD
