Mod Support
I missed my opportunity to purchase the original game. I was looking forward to playing some of it's mod content. Does anyone know if that old mod content is still usable on the new game? (I doubt anyone has tried yet, given how young of a release this is right now)

I tried this weird Equipment editor to give myself 5000 inventory space... it corrupted my save. So probably the old stuff is not compatible and I'll wait until someone figured out how to give more inventory space (or tells me how to do it, by all means I'm no geek x)) :D #Hoarder

The game is never made to support real modding.
Still, there exist more than enough mods. They didn't back when I played the original, but apparently now there are.

Inventory space is also what I want to mod in this game. But first I need them to patch the game, so far had 6 hard resets. Can't pass the staircase (after opening the 3 chests with the different armors in the tutorial dungeon),as soon as I'm at the top of the stairs the game makes the computer reset.
That's pretty weird, it runs smoothly for me. Try the respective pinned post here in the forums ^^

Edit: I think I'll try the very, very old video that comes up as the first video when you search for "KoA Re-reckoning cheat table" (Of course there are none and all the stuff is for the original game, but the method for getting the right inventory address might still be applicable) ^^

huh... that's an interesting suggestion. CT's might be a bit off depending on what they changed in the code, but some parts of them might still work. Not sure if this game uses some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ anti-cheat detection, though.

A mod to raise difficulty level would be nice. Shouldnt be too hard to make i think. Just modyfi the level offset so the enemys are like 10 levels above yours.

Im level 25 on very hard and i onehit nearly every living being. The craftable stuff is just too strong. But limiting my capabilitys is even more frustrating then no Challenge. So a difficulty modifier would be awesome.

If there was a mod to set all zones to their max by default i'd be down for that (would suck at the zones that can go up to 99, but hey, call it an actual hard mode. XD

They promised mod support for the future ... nobody knows if they are true to their word though. At the moment they actually made modding HARDER by changing the fileformat.

My understanding is that the game can me modded in Lua 5.1 because that's very close to the scripting in the game which is Havoc scripting irc. I wish there was more documentation on how to make scripts for this game. To atleast be able to say, 'Hello world'.
