Report a translation problem
I'm surprised that the contents haven't been scattered into the loot tables, used as quest rewards, or something else. It might have even been cool to merge the chest into some kind of transmog system, just so we can keep the unique skins.
Can you actually make them scale or what have you? They're obviously meant to be these unique, powerful items, but they end up...yeah. At least gem slot(s)? Perhaps? Yes?
Transmog would work too...
As said earlier a few posts back it is currently bugged and we are looking into it!

Let the rest of the gear sit in the chest until you have your first player home. You can transfer the gear to your stash if you want. Then let the gear sit until your blacksmithing skill is high enough to salvage everything.

I thought that the cap varied with difficulty level? Is it only enemies that scale higher and not zone level or loot? I keep thinking that I understand this and finding that I don't.
