How bad is it right now?

Keep seeing people saying that the game has a ton of bugs and iirc i've never had any issue with the older version of the game and i have a lot of hours in that version.

I have had game breaking bugs and reported them. I own and played the original.

My salvage button greyed out. Shortly after all my menu buttons greyed out. This happened in Rathir Blacksmithing "Pride of Pryderi. I had to go back to an earlier save to fix it. I then went to Shieldring Keep to salvage and the bottom half of my body disappeared leaving me with boots walking on chest piece. Again, loading earlier save fixed this but by this time I thought, I can't craft in either places. Then... sighs... I level and did not get a point for skills but the button said "Confirm". I did get 3 points in Abilities. Going back to earlier saves DID NOT fix this problem. By this time I felt I had reloaded so many times that my stress level of what is going to happen next got the better of me.
I also have massive lag issues and crash often. Some shadows are pitch black in dungeons. All the old bugs are still there but knowing them I can navigate away from them. These new bugs are totally game breaking..

Not a single problem for me. I game a long session over 8hrs+ during week end and never encounter any bug or crash. This game is rock stable.

That is way more than just bugs. Something is wrong with your game files. Cant be having all that issues.
If you clicked on status then skills you can put points in there once you level and when you went to level up from main menu will show zero points available and you can confirm.

They took the old engine which had asset streaming problems and upped the LOD. Making it run like poo regardless of settings. Try and get the old game somewhere, maybe GOG has it. The remaster is probably one of the worst to come out in a years. Read my review, I detail everything wrong with it..
