Blacksmithing issue with Mastercrafting

For some reason, When I create something on the blacksmith forge, it is not coming up as Mastercrafted. Admittedly, I'm only Level 25 but I do have 10 points in the Blacksmith skill. If I make a Staff it is coming up as "Star" Staff. It should be reading "Mastercrafted Oak Staff". Anyone have any ideas?

I have noticed a 6% dmg bonus that I couldnt account for since i got my 10th point in BS. But also dont get a "Mastercraft" prefix in the name.
My char is lvl23

Is this your first time doing blacksmithing after switching to the remaster? 'Cause that's just how it is now; the default name for crafted equipment is no longer "Fine/Mastercrafted <insert material> <insert weapon>," it's just "☆ <insert weapon>."

If you want a different name, you have to type it in yourself.
