Wow!! This really is a poorly optimised game. Didn't expect this from CM!
Sorry to see you are running into these long boot-up times. I did notice that the first time I launched the game it took a while to load but since then the load times have drastically improved but I can see that hasn't happened for everyone. The team are continuously working on improvements and optimisations for PC.
Could you head over to the Technical form found here https://forms.gle/ZraHaTN4ENtpksYN7 and fill it out with as much information, please.
Sure, I'll do it right now :-)
DiRT 5 is awesome btw. I've always had DiRT 2 as my favourite DiRT game and DiRT 5 feels like DiRT 2, just more new and with new types of races.
I know there's many who are not the biggest fan of DiRT 5, and I understand some of them, but I really like DiRT 5. I hope to see a lot of new content for this game, hopefully more Career stuff
Edit:
Just finished filling out a report
Same with me
I agree that your performance seems bad... But I get 45/50FPS on almost maxed out settings, 5120x1440p (900.000 pixels less than native 4K), with a 1080Ti which is downclocked by almost 100MHz because of Undervolt. So compared to other new games, DIRT5 seems to be okay optimized, atleast when targeting 4K.
