I have this also but it boots up eventually.. it seems to vary quite a bit and no idea why it does this. no other games do this.

Yup, takes around 20 seconds for it to boot on my PC

Just got my copy, I'm running a Ryzen 5 2600, 16gig 3200 ram, RTX 2060 and Samsung 860 SSD's all round, takes about a minute to launch!

Wow!! This really is a poorly optimised game. Didn't expect this from CM!

Hey all,

Sorry to see you are running into these long boot-up times. I did notice that the first time I launched the game it took a while to load but since then the load times have drastically improved but I can see that hasn't happened for everyone. The team are continuously working on improvements and optimisations for PC.

Could you head over to the Technical form found here https://forms.gle/ZraHaTN4ENtpksYN7 and fill it out with as much information, please.

Sure, I'll do it right now :-)

DiRT 5 is awesome btw. I've always had DiRT 2 as my favourite DiRT game and DiRT 5 feels like DiRT 2, just more new and with new types of races.

I know there's many who are not the biggest fan of DiRT 5, and I understand some of them, but I really like DiRT 5. I hope to see a lot of new content for this game, hopefully more Career stuff

Edit:
Just finished filling out a report

Same with me

Yep it takes almost a minute to load (i7-6700, 16 gb ddr4 ram). The fps could be also improved a lot. I play on the lowest settings in native Full HD and getting 50-70 fps, GTX 970. That's insultingly low for such card and such low graphic settings. Dirt Rally 2 gets much more fps on higher settings. I wonder how did you test the game and never had any problems whatsoever? There must be some quality control right?

I agree that your performance seems bad... But I get 45/50FPS on almost maxed out settings, 5120x1440p (900.000 pixels less than native 4K), with a 1080Ti which is downclocked by almost 100MHz because of Undervolt. So compared to other new games, DIRT5 seems to be okay optimized, atleast when targeting 4K.
