Really impressed! Both the minigolf game itself as well as the creator work rather well, especially for just entering early access.

I made a few different courses using the creator and I was very pleased with how (mostly) intuitive the toolset felt after using it for a short time and further impressed by the course customization allowed. Being able to adjust the size/height/width/angles for all objects is great for some really custom courses. Putting down putting green took some getting used to but once I understood it, creating paths and testing them was fairly easy. I also appreciated the terrain deformation tools as well as the amount of customization that can be done with water, be it colors, wave movement, and height.

That said, hopefully some more documentation can be made available as I did have to figure out some of the creator commands on my own. Equally great would be the ability to adjust key bindings, which is available for hotkeys when playing courses but not for the hotkeys when creating them.

Looking forward to see how this game improves over early access and hoping the game takes off and more people start uploading courses to the Workshop!

MiniGolf Maker offers a fun and addicting multiplayer experience with power-ups, a level creator to create your own courses, and access to an endless amount of content through the Steam Workshop. However, there are a few minor issues present and the amount of courses is limited.

TL;DR: This game has the best minigolf level editor. Period. Buy it in the sale if you can, it's well worth double it's price point in my opinion.

So, minigolf games are out of fashion apparently, but this absolute gem has so much potential for cool course ideas. If you like being creative this definitely allows you to go all out and make whatever the heck you want, whereas others are limited in multiple ways.

In short, if you've played a minigolf game that had a level editor, it sucks compared to this one. Let's go over the other alternatives and see what they offer, then see why this one blows all of them away.

So basically, buy this game if you like minigolf and level editors, because there are already a pretty good number of courses on the workshop right now, and that's only going to increase with time. The game also comes with a few courses made by the dev for you to try out.

This is really a fantastic game, I prefer it to all Mini Golf games I own. It looks very nice, has some great courses with varying degrees of difficulty, looks and feels very solid. The music is not over the top, but is by no means bad and fits the game just fine. It is overall a solid, polished game.

Had tons of fun playing it, many hours of play are actually on my brother's account, as we spent days playing this on holidays. Love playing it with my son, too.

Would like this work of love recognised, it is criminally underrated.

This game is truly amazing! It is very polished and definitley deserves more players. Only one small criticism: when playing courses, you have to use RMB to move the aim. But it is crazy sensitive! Please tone this sensitivity down! It is really annoying when i have only two decisions: use LSHIFT to move agonisingly slow, or just RMB to launch into hyperspace. Please fix this. Amazing game tho!

While fiddly at times and lacking fish, The editor is easy to use and allows you to make a course as simple or a complex as you want.
I love how you can use events to make objects move and really bring your course to life!

Minigolf Maker is a really fun game where you make your own minigolf courses. The possibilities are endless as you can make small course or big ones. This game should definitely be more popular as it's really fun when you start to make courses and play them with your friends! The environments are really cool as you can have courses based on a beach; the water looks really good. Overall this is an amazing game! Hope it gets more popular.

Played one round and had no difficulty with setting up or gameplay. Looks like one I could definitely chill to and having an editor with workshop items means never ending hole options. Good value.

Best level editor for a mini golf game on steam. I also think the gameplay is better than Golf with your friends, but it could do with the option of disabling powerups.

The turn based gameplay is decent, plays a bit like worms on some holes. I just found out you can do simultaneous turns in blitz mode too

Not many full length courses yet, the existing courses are quality, however the game still has plenty of early access bugs that may require you to restart your game.
Thankfully you can choose which hole you start on.
