I've got a random patch here with a new accessibility-related option for players. This was requested by a player and was very simple to add, so I decided to go ahead and implement it.

Features

• Added "Shot Power Speed" option for each player that allows you to reduce the speed of the power meter for "Two Clicks" and "Hold & Release" control schemes. This option can be found in Player Management by clicking on a player's ball in the lobby or in the "Manage Players" menu in-game.

• Improved collisions for Blitz mode when multiple balls are on the tee.
  
• Balls can now always be moved when on the tee, even if it is not the player's first stroke (i.e. they reset to the tee.)

A patch is out addressing some issues.

Changes

• When a player reaches the stroke limit, 1 penalty stroke is now added to their score.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed turn end popup showing "Stroke Limit Reached" upon getting in the hole if the stroke was the final one before the stroke limit would have been reached.
  
• Fixed mod publishing from the Mod Manager not working.

Another patch has been released, this one addressing major issues that could cause courses to not load, plus some other fixes.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed green edges being able to be added to and removed from groups when they are part of a green piece. This would cause courses to not load due to errors.
  
• Fixed course loading so that courses already affected by the above issue will now load.
  
• Fixed various issues with the "Remove From Group" action.
  
• Fixed the "Enable Power Ups" lobby option being ignored.
  
• Fixed not being able to reset your shot on the first stroke.

Hello everyone,

A patch has been released to address input issues, as well as some quality of life improvements.

Improvements

• Cancelling a swing with Hold & Drag is now more lenient, and no longer requires the power to be exactly 0.
  
• Automatic green snapping is now more lenient, so greens can be snapped together without position snapping enabled.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed input bindings not getting synced to all players when changed during gameplay.
  
• Fixed controller bindings being blank in the options menu if the primary player's controller is disconnected, but there are other controllers connected.
  
• Fixed camera stuttering when zooming in and out in some cases.
  
• Fixed aim rotation speed being frame rate-dependent.
  
• Fixed resetting shots allowing you to reset all the way back to a previous hole.
  
• Potential fixes related to Steam's controller configuration options.

I have just released a patch that attempts to address a rare issue with crashing when attempting to host a game. I also added the ability to start offline games.

• Added option to start offline game.

• Updated networking package in attempt to fix crashing when trying to host.
  
• Regenerated object thumbnails that were created with incorrect graphics settings.

Hi everyone,

We are finally out of Early Access with the Dreamscape Update!

Introducing the Isle of Dreams course, showing off the Dreamscape themed content.
Also included in this update are Achievements! In total there are 21 achievements, including a few hidden ones. Note that the gameplay-related achievements are not counted when testing in the course creator.

As always there are more new features and bug fixes to list as well, but before the changelog I want to address MiniGolf Maker's future as a full release.

I have been working on MiniGolf Maker since 2015, so that would be almost 7 years I have dedicated to working on this game. In that time I graduated college and had 3 full-time jobs before deciding I wanted to quit my job and focus completely on game dev.

This game has been a big part of my life, and quite frankly I am completely burnt out. But now that it is out of Early Access I feel I that am finally able to move on. Working on this game has not been easy, especially during the time that I had full-time jobs that ate up 8 hours of my weekdays, meaning I spent almost all of my free time working on this game. There were many occasions where my motivation to keep working was extremely low, but I felt like I had an obligation to see this project through to some state that could be considered complete.

There are a lot of things about this game I am proud of, and just as many things that I regret. Even with that said, working on this game has provided me with invaluable experience for not only the technical aspects of game making, but also for the community and marketing aspects (mostly for what I need to do better). I will be sure to use everything I've learned here to make my next games even better.

So, with all that said, this will be the final feature update of MiniGolf Maker. I will still monitor the Problem Reports forum for bug reports, and release patches as needed, but there will be no new added features from this point on. I will be removing the Ideas and Feedback forum in accordance with this.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this game. Thank you to everyone (both on Steam and on Discord) who has shared their courses, provided feedback, and posted bug reports. You have helped immensely in keeping me motivated to continue working on this game, and I hope to see you again on my future games.
