The black hole power up does not remove players from the lobby, so I'm not sure how it could remove a player from the scoreboard. The black hole is just a hazard that will reset the balls that get sucked into it, similar to a water hazard. I will investigate to test if it is behaving correctly in online games.
Keeping moving objects in sync is unfortunately very difficult, but I will test to see if there is anything I can do to improve it.
Allowing for connecting mid-game is a huge can of worms to open from a technical standpoint. I no longer do any large feature development for MiniGolf Maker, so it's really too big of a task for me to take on at this point.
