Hey there,

I would say that MiniGolf Maker is probably more graphically intensive than other mini-golf games, most of which tend to have more simplistic art styles. Combine this with the fact that player-created content simply cannot be optimized as efficiently as developer-created content and you may run into times where your system has a lot of work to do.

That being said, there are a few graphics options that can be changed to reduce the GPU utilization:
  • VSync: Depending on your monitor, turning this on can limit the FPS and reduce the GPU utilization.
  • Water Realtime Reflections: Realtime water reflections are pretty hefty, so disabling them can improve performance.
  • Enable Grass Details: Turning grass details off can have a big impact on performance.
