This is a free to play game that is basically a mini-party game. You shampoo, rinse, & dry dogs as they come down the conveyor belts. You can either use the guns (aim & shoot) or you can throw the bombs which is quicker, but you'll have to throw accurately. So you'll want to shoot the pups at a distance and bomb them up close. But don't worry, you're not hurting them, you're just cleaning them.

This game is perfect for kids or families with kids. While the action does get challenging in the later levels, it's still a little too basic for most gamers. Still, it's a cute game, especially if you like puppies. Game looks good and runs smoothly. You can play perfectly fine seated.

Finally, I just want to say thank you to the student devs at the Ringling College of Art & Design. You guys did really good!

Rate 6/10. It's not for me, but it's still something I can recommend for wholesome family VR fun.

Lots of Doggos, all the doggos do the smile. Wish there was a way I could pet the dogs. Other than that, it was perfect.

Not played for long but like what I played.
Using the Oculus Quest and Virtual Desktop with no issues, apart from the controller vertical tilt discrepancy often found in games where the Vive is the primary audience. Your hands are at an odd angle, but you quickly get used to the adjustment.

The game itself is fun and challenging, I made it to the 4th stage. You really have to be comfortable with throwing the balls to have a chance in the later levels.

Possible suggestions to give the game more longevity:
Career mode? Each dog nets you some money which could be spent on improved guns/balls/locales.
Different dirtiness levels of dogs: An extra dirty dog, or long fur that needs extra drying, just to add some variability.

Great stuff guys, could easily be a chargeable game.

This was a great game! I originally downloaded it as "hey, it has good graphics and looks to be a decent quality VR game for free" and I was blown away by what this game had to offer! I'd love more from this game. Could have easily been $15 and it'd probably be worth it if it was longer.

This game totally misses its target audience.

My kids would love to play but they're not tall enough to see over the virtual counter or reach all of the tools.
Also the difficulty is way too high. You have a matter of seconds to wet, soap, and dry each dog. It's challenging for an adult and impossible for a child.

Could be fun, especially for children, but it's incredibly difficult. We didn't manage to finish the first level after tutorial.

Great game specially for kids, can get a bit hectic, but not that much.

You are presented with lanes on which dirty dogs arrive, you have to soap, rinse and dry them, hopefully before they arrive at the end platform, because after they get there you are on a timer to finish the job before they are taken away.

So you have to try to at least do some of the job while they are on the delivery lane.

Wholesome, colorful, good performance, catchy music, and FREE.

It's well-polished and free, but difficulty is poorly tuned.

To be fair, I love the overall aesthetic of Wet Dog Corp. The art direction is well executed, the VR integration is seamless, and the music is upbeat and cheery. Your console and environment are built like a giant pokemon clamshell that opens and closes as you switch areas, which is an excellent way of handling transitions. This would be a great kids game, save for one problem:

From what I can tell, the overall meta-strategy for this game is that you need to be cleaning doggos as they move along the conveyor belt, not simply when they reach the end. If you don't do this, you have mere seconds to clean them up before they're sucked away and counted as a failure. This isn't bad, but your tools to accomplish it are atrocious.

The game has three soap/water/air blasters that it implies are your primary weapons their placement in the center of the user interface. The problem is that you can only use two of them at once, so you have to frantically and continuously swap between them. Worse, their range is fairly poor, where you'll have trouble hitting doggos at mid and long ranges, and you'll need to keep a stream on them for a few seconds to properly clean them. On top of that, each blaster has a limited amount of charge before you have to pick up a new one... which seems awfully arbitrary when they could have just as easily been connected by hoses.

If you ignore the blasters entirely and focus on the 'bath bombs' - little spheres that you can hurl at doggos to clean them, the game becomes possible, if still a little frantic. The physics of throwing seem okay, but I never truly got the hang of them. Something about it seems slightly off, but it's playable.

Playing it in this style is like practicing baseball pitching, and impressively burns a fair bit of calories. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1188920/YUR/ clocked my 30 minute run at 260 kcals, which puts it in the same class as Pistol Whip or Beat Saber.

I cannot recommend this game, even with it being free, due to its glaring issues. However, I commend the students for the amount of polish and design work that went into this project. With a bit of tuning and more than 30 minutes of content, it would be a solid game.

downloaded this for my kids wasn't expecting much but its a great little game. would have paid for it not sure why its free but thanks.

This is a fun game. It's a simple concept. You wash dogs. I find that using the bath bombs are the easiest method.

Since it is new it does have some things that might need to be adjusted. I hit the wall with my new Index controller by accident because the play area is shifted forward and can't re-position. Index controllers work but sometimes the grab points don't work as cleanly. I'm sure they are the same on other controllers. I also tried playing seated but the counter gets in the way. The blue hip pad on the counter seems like a way to adjust the table but it doesn't. Minor issues that can be addressed. Recommend playing.
