Made Man Achievement (Classic Difficulty)
I just found out that if you change the difficulty of game at any point, even for a second, you will lose your trophy for Classic difficulty, and tbh, it sounds a bit stupid when there is chapter selection and some replay value in re-running the sections.

I started the game on classic difficulty and ofc being new to the game, passed the fair play (racing) mission to progress and come back to it later. After finishing that chapter on Classic difficulty too I was disappointed not to see Made Man achieve pop up.

I basically did finish the whole game on Classic difficulty, Only one chapter was passed on easy and then finished on classic when I came back to it after the main story run, why can't I enjoy having that achievement?

For the very reason you just said. You change difficulty.

Only way to get it, is to finish whole game on classic without chancing difficulty.
Even there is chapter selection, it doesn't keep record what is the hardest difficulty that chapter is done, only if the difficulty have been change.

It does suck that the game doesn't remember your completed difficulty for each individual chapter, but that's exactly what I was afraid of on my first playthrough, so I avoided chapter replays and I think even Free Ride until I was done.

You absolutely did the right thing.

But generally, games should be rewarding players' participation in their extra content, such as collectibles, side quests, and especially time-consuming and difficult ones.

Mafia is known for it's story and cinematic experience, hence the distinction between "Free Ride" and "Story" chapters. So I definitely think they should expect re-runs of chapters and reward players who participate in the grind.
