Constantly crashing

just get random crashes out of nowhere at least one every missions, its getting really annoying.

Any tips or fixes for this?

Same, I've played 5 hours and experienced 3 crashes thus far. Really ruining my motivation to continue playing even though i've been massively hyped for months ever since the game's announcement.

Same here. Already tried to play windowed borderless mode, updating vc_redist, etc. Nothing really help, it keeps crashing or freezing even more often (every 5-10 mins) Messaged to 2k support but all their suggestions was to reinstall and clean the cash. Thats really annoying.

Also here, black screen than crash and back in windows. 3 times after 3 hours of play, so frustrating!

did same for me every 5 mins a crash and would fail to load in game textures.
bought for ps4 now and got a refund

still a problem :( Will have to try to install on another gaming pc and hope it works better there. Too bad - really enjoying it but constant crashes and weird jerkiness when moving mouse ruins it. The jerkiness mystifies me too - I run at a constant 140+ fps.... Seems to mostly crash in cutscenes. I have a i9-10900K, 128GB RAM, RTX 3090 running off a SSD..

Wow. I had the same issues when I played the original game years ago. I had completely forgotten about it, because the game was a lot of fun. But now, reading all the threads talking about crashes, I remembered that the original game had those issues as well.

Same for me. 13900kf, MSI RTX4090 Supreme X, 64 DDR5, Nvme Samsumg 980Pro. It looks like to 2k doesnt care about the people who experiencing crashes.

The game keeps crashing randomly but only after maybe 30 seconds of play or sometimes a minute or two. Very difficult to get even to the next checkpoint as it usually crashes before reaching it. After playing one and half hours I have only got to the first checkpoint so not much progress.

I had the same issue yesterday after downloading the game.. Did some digging across the discussion page and found that somebody got it to work without crashing by putting steam in offline mode. I gave it a shot and so far the game is running great. Maybe this will help
