PS: it was initially set to be a F2P game but decided on going a premium model where you pay once and get all the content. Sadly...no content or gameplay or interesting classes or interesting skills...i forget why i bought this game.
Come back 30 days after its released and if there are only 700 people playing you might have a point.
but was the issue the game has no content and not the pricing ?
tl2 is all about mods, isnt it ?
i think ppl want to make or play mods with new classes and questchains etc
like darkest dungeon is 4years old and the works shop is full of custom stuff
you kinda need that for your indie game if you release today
but you are right, if this game doesnt have mod support...it will be dead on arrival. though it is already on life support. someone give it an hp potion and a tome of intellect.
The one thing that could prevent it from being quickly abandoned by the devs, like Pagan Online and Warhammer:Chaosbane were, is that this studio doesn't have any other games in development. so it's this or nothing.
Seriously, asking turn $30 game into a F2P, it must be the effects of months of Covid going on making the little common sense left in this world....
NO, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, ITS A TRAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
It started as f2p and it didn't worked out and now it should go back to f2p? Wait a minute.
Also, Chaosbane wasn't abandoned. There's still stuff coming. Pagan is going the single-player route, when it re-releases.
