Perfect World to continue updates???

Now that the company has left torchlight due to being purchased by Zynga, are we to expect Perfect World to keep updating/fixing the game or is it now abandonware?

They released garbage, didn't listen to the players' advices, and abandoned the project. Now let's think, why do Perf. World need the game that almost no one plays it? That's my opinion

But it's in the middle of the text about the update and it starts talking about specific new content and quality of life things in this update right after that statement. I think it is referring to this update we just got.

I would love to see more content coming and I'd gladly pay for more content. But the playerbase is very small (on PC at least) and the developers are gone. Personally I do not expect even additional bug fixes at this point, but I'll be glad to be proven wrong.

Oh damn ...soo thats it then i guess. Thats all we got ... kinda disappointing - was hoping for more a game as service thing and that they would add more content until its in a state to deserve that name. Without modsupport .... basicaly ded -.-

Thankful they made it possible to play offline at least. That's why offline options in games are so important, considering the commercial failure here the servers easily could have gone down and the game would be permanently lost.

I really enjoy the new class actually, but I'm not sure I want to spend any more time on this game knowing that it's being left as-is without further improvements. I can't imagine Perfect World doing much if anything on this beyond fixing game-breaking bugs.

Most likely no one from them reads the topic here. The only thing is to wait for any official statement from them on fb, twitter or somewhere else

People can expect whatever they like.

I expect that if an announcement over the future of TL3 isn't made quickly by Perfect World this game will be on the back burner for the foreseeable future. If one is made, we will likely have a better idea how potentially bright or dark the game's future may be.
