Progress Update #002

The game made a bit of progress, but it's still a long way to go.

The oldschool ui has been replaced by a much more modern looking interface. It's sleek and minimalistic and also no more that colorful. But this allows to focus more on the important parts.
Finally fixed some bugs in regards to enemy behaviour and overall ai behaviour. This time you can't stop enemies by just closing the doors ;-)
Security cameras are finally working.
Upgraded the input system and streamlined the controls.

Next month will focus on optimizations and some more polishing - in it's current state there are sometimes some fps drops which should obviously not happen.

Progress Update #001

It has been some time since the last activity of "Rogue In The Void". Development was on halt due to lack of time and diffulties in personal life. But the project is not dead. This is an official announcement that development efforts will increase to deliver a small demo / early access version of this game.

This means:

- Development will focus on polishing (controls, visual feedback, ui, tutorial)
- Missing core elements will be added (obviously the overarching ai is still missing)
- No new mechanics will be introduced
- Required internal project cleanups

Also it is planned to have a regularly development stream (Twitch ZwieBit[www.twitch.tv]), also i will stream some side projects for recreational purposes) every wednesday from 20:00 to 23:00 CET and some spontaneous streams where you can just hang around, talk to a lousy english speaking person and see some code.

Thank you very much for your support, and i hope you enjoy the final game as much as i like the development .

Hi, sadly the project is canceled. It’s no longer possible to work on the game on a regular basis because of insufficient time, budget and also because of healthy reasons. Developing a game of this scale and having a stressful dayjob didn't come out. Sorry for all the people who whishlisted the game and were interested in playing it. Kind regards, Michael...
