575m Shot Authentic Medal on Mission 1

Is this even possible? From the giant RADAR a shot that practically covers the entire map outside the safehouse village is only 508m, I can't find any further than that. The longest shots from the bunker vantage point are all in the 400m range. What's even more confusing is this is only for the silver medal, if the jump between silver and gold is the same as between bronze and silver (+200m), the shot would definitely be longer than the entire length of the map.

If u think that is much imagine getting gold medal on that one. I made silver on a shot of 601 and to get gold u need a shot from 725m. so Good luck :)

It might be that boat, and you might need to go to the furthest point on the beach away from it. I admit I had a job hitting the thing even at 200m for some reason, but I suspect that might be the long shot you're looking for as it sails miles out to sea on its patrols.

I'm not saying I can't hit a target over 575m, I'm saying there literally aren't any. Where was your 600m shot taken from? The entire map isn't even 725m long so that is just ridiculous, it must be the boat out to the sea like Bad Whippet mentioned, nothing else makes sense.

If you start from the farmhouse and keep the checkpoint on the road to your left, head far right to the back of the field and you can just make out the guard that patrols the pier in town. Set your sights to 800 and you can get a shot of 700+.

ye there is enemy you can hit 732 m+ away , in fact there's two but one is almost impossible to see unless you have empty lung aim assist on as the tree foliage blocks your vision , so on to the second one, when you first enter Atlantic wall main mission make you're way to the very edge of field that's across the road from the starting position, open the map and zoom in you will notice three small farm house buildings directly across the widest length of the map at the vary far end , mark the middle one then find that marker while looking through your binoc's , find the gap between the tree foliage where you can spot the house that you placed marker on & you will find the enemy soldier standing inside the top farm house window .

p.s. make sure you preform quick save before you start firing your rifle .

That target is totally do-able in authentic difficulty unlike the many other's, well it was for me anyway's .

As for the radar location i could only find 578 m target which i was given the silver award meh !!

After the cutscene showing the sub getting blown up, slide down the ramp in front of you and eliminate the guards at the checkpoint from that position, skirt right, staying as far back as you can and cross the road.
Check your map.
Look out in the direction of the exfil point. From here you can see the one guy in the farmhouse window. This will qualify as a gold medal long shot on Authentic.
