Saving System Help

What kind of saving system does this game have?

steam cloud , as long as you have it turned on

Does that mean it's autosaving then?

so cloud on steam keeps the whole profile , and should cover you if your pc dies ect , you also have in game saves as well , so between them you should be ok , but if you are paranoid then make copies of your
C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local\Sniper Elite 5\PC_ProfileSaves as well

How do you save in-game? Is it manual, autosaving or checkpoints?

While I can't confirm anything (I'm not a dev nor do I own the game yet because it hasn't been released), I imagine they'll continue to use manual saves, quicksaves, autosaves, and checkpoint saves together just like they did in SE3 and SE4. It'd be weird for them to take a step backwards and revert to the poorly-made checkpoint-only save system that SEv2 used.
