I am still trying to figure this or that. I have no skills, nor I know how to make skills. I have "catalogued" (?) my journal and a bunch of books. I have opened a few rooms in the Library, Baronial era: The three rooms of the Watchman's tower and the Gardens in the Long Tower.
I have gone to this "Tree of Wisdom" that I have not yet figured what it is. After putting my journal in the center, a whole lot of branches opened up, for cards I don't recognize.
I have written back to those nice people that sent me here and gave me a note.
I have learned from my journal that I try to escape my parents (??) for some reason. I don't know if my former self means my actual parents or this is allegorical.
I have opened the various houses in the village. I have found out that I can make a lot of money by... working in the village. It costs 2 pence to "recover" and you earn 6 by working. So, I think I may "grind" money. I have replenished on the bed but I have nearly drunk all my wine and it seems refreshing are not too common.
I can wash my sheets but it takes time.
Honestly, just spamming x6 and working seems the less grindy way to grind money.
Oh, and as far as Cultist Simulator Tie-ins: I have the first two books By Teresa's boyfriend. Christopher's books, that you use in Cultist Simulator to get some early lore.
I have opened a lot of rooms, leaving the books found there uncatalogued for a time. I think it is about time to get to cataloguing as I like visitors.
Crafting is a challenge for me, as my skills are low-tier.
Something is happening in Marrakesh (a Long named Abecassis went gaga with a metamorphosis from what I gather) and I let a Hunter Freelancer see a book about how she could put down her former friend.
Random: Ambrose Wescott was naming his hunting trophies after the rivals said trophies resembled. Most of the trophies I have seen have huge antlers...
Your librarian in this case is a child of 2 immortals, which is prohibited by a cosmic law. If you remember the alucites/ ligeians from CS, that's what the parents will turn into once they find the librarian and devour them.
1. Why did you spoil that? :(
2. OMG!
3. Don't tell me what happens next, please.
4. How on earth did I survive to reach the island?! Two Long are after me!
5. Is that Long that undergoes that transformation in Marrakesh creating horror... daddy?
There are some other comparably crazy origins. One of the starts is a Lantern-long reborn into flesh and now hiding from everybody. The other is a penitent executioner of the things remaining after Gods-from-stone. Ultimately, Hush house is a refuge for some very weird things and people.
Read the Aspects on your journal. It should be the one to the right of the Mystery: Lantern titled "Memories: The Prodigal".
That said, I am not sure about either of those, it is the impression I have from Cultist Simulator.
T_T
I followed your advice and I did read them. I thought I was having a nice job, cataloguing things and thinking on what I want to do. Now I have two Long dead-set to devour me and why the journal says I would be safe in the Library and I may find a weapon, they have a very long life to make a fool of my plans.
Plus, such a long lifespan may work against them on things that have a set time limit like that.
Magnate:"May I finally have some peace?"
