There's one recipe that I know of that turns Glass into a metal.
Woven items I'm not sure, but there is a workbench that reduces woven items to rags.
It kind of depends on what you mean by "stable sources". Apart from beachcombing and walks you're always limited to what you can find in the house.
For fuel, you can make various candles by gathering beeswax in your garden and using a candle-making skill. Not sure about cloth, but there is a loom, so you can probably weave something there? Despite beating the game, I barely interacted with a lot of the crafting stations in the game.
However, you can craft a Metal, Gervinite, without needing a Metal but Glass instead, making it an unlimited source of Metal. No equivalent for Fabric that I know of.
Fuel you can make the strongest stuff in the game at 5 forge with no real commitment.
Fabric you only really have what's in the house and what you find in washed up packages. Currently it's not that huge because the bonuses you can get only slightly make Mrs. Kille better than a bar hire and you shouldn't even need fabric if you're doing crafting.
Mommets are Grail.
Unique Hire(4)+Memory(2)+Ereb(2)+Rubywise Ruin(4)+Tool(1)=13
Like I said, fabric you shouldn't even need if you're crafting. Mommet is only needed for cracking the final rooms, and that's only if you don't craft memories, use Numens, or use pigments which would put you at 14-17.
other than that, there's a 5 difficulty knock recipe to make memories into glass, and 10 knock to make glass into metal
in therms of fuel, all the options i've found have already been mentioned here
You know, you're right. For some reason I thought that item needed fabric to make. Must have been because I was doing all the Heart skills around the same time and was thinking Frith-Weft was needed since a skill that can make the Keeper makes Frith-Weft as a scholar.
EDIT: Since there is technically a reliable way to make fabric then maybe the Mommet is more viable than I originally thought. Still it's rough that it's a Keeper recipe to make the fabric while Metal and Fuel are Scholar.

Candles ( I think only the ones you craft are Fuel )
Beeswax
Various wood logs from the Moor
Those stacks of paper lying around ( not sure if you can get more of those though )
Most of those aren't great, there is 1 candle that is good but it is made from plants gotten during Nume. There is a Log from the Moor that is good, but I think it is rare to gather.
