can't open spell book it says press B ...i press B to open the so called Spell book ...but it doesn't open ........and the developers doesn't even care i was hoping that update fixes ...fixed it but nope ...it wasn't the case .....Lame ..... i'll score the game developers a 2 ...out of a 100 maybe ....

Same issue, but keep in mind they only just fixed the Windows 11 issue, other issues may crop up that they could not expect, hopefully say see these posts and are able to fix it. I come back to this game every few years, and with the newest one out I wanted to go through all of them again before picking it up, so hopefully this can get fixed soon.

weird, i got it working yesterday but now opening the spellbook doesn't work

I find it works after I alt tab out and back in, and then press left alt and tab individually. Hope it works for some of you too.

i found this issues stems from Alt+tab shenanigans. the game will keep the input of Alt continued when you tab back in. so i find whenever i tab back into the game, or even just load the game, just press Alt, Tab and Shift as separate keys so the game doesnt think youre currently holding them

As it turned out, everything worked, just not the way I remembered it. For some reason, I thought that the spell book could be opened between waves, but it turned out that it wasn't.
