get Guild Wars 2
it's so danm similar on combat, multiplayer, amazing world and great armors & weapons!
Currently playing as an Asura guardian and having a ball with the little mario esque cartoon girl. Lots of fun to be had with the midgets, don't count them out!
action wise? DmC and devil may cry 4 for steam have kind of a similar combat theme, granted, that's not entirely true, but it depends, i don't think there are too many that are "exactly like" the game proper though, dark souls is more survival horror than anything....
Just the first boss fight alone was enough for me to rage quit several times and watch some youtube walkthrough of the guy nailing it first time, then i realised this was just the beginning of the eventual massive frustration the game was going to offer. The fight seemed so utterly random and even when i did exactly what the walkthrougher did, i still failed as the boss simply changed its routine on me. I knew then this is what the game was going to be and the comparitve cake walks of Skyrim and Amalur is where i belong. Don't even mention Darks Souls 2.
All that said, Witcher 3 looks incredible and it'll be a day 1 purchase !
