Gohart loot chest

Just got the game and all dlcs but dont want to use the armour or weapons in the chest so am wondering can i keep them there or do i need to take them and either use, sell or salvage ???

Was wondering this myself. Are these weapons and armour OP?

I know i can just ignore them, but it's annoying having them there in the first place (RPG OCD! :p) it seems to me that the gear in the chest is to be worn and used throughout the entire game although i could be wrong, can anyone confirm that the dlc chest items are not the be all and end all?

You can keep them there, they will stay in the chest I know at least for the main game. The weapons were preorder items and they have a pretty big boost in power. If you watch Total Biscuit's video for KoA he goes on a bit of a rant about the bonus equipment : P

I think the equipment will also scale up to your level when you open the chest. It's kind of overpowered, but not horribly so.

You will out grow them because although they have nice base damage they lack enchants and sockets that make the latter game weapons more powerful. About the only thing they have going for them is the fate accumulation bonus. The really OP weapons and armor are made through the crafting system. Basicly you can use cascading bonuses from weapons and armor to allow you to do thousands of damage per hit if you combine the right materials.

just got a house and transfered the items are now weak to what i already have equiped now lol

there's a bug you can exploit to get infinite backpacks,buy the backpack from Illyn Doldran then kill him,fast travel to your house sleep for 3 days then return and he will respawn with another backpack for sale.the downside is you don't get access to Mel Senshir until you're about 75% through the game

no they are pretty much level 4ish armor..and not op..well maybe at that level they are a little bit...

If you don't want them, leave them in the chest, I usually just leave what I don't want in the chest, might use the weapons or whatever, and leave the rest. Doesn't bug the game out ..for me anyway.

One of the few spoilers is the lack of storage space in this game but, then I'm a RPG packrat.

i hear that! in skyrim i pickup everything not bolted down.the merchants must hate me,everytime i enter their shops i clean them out of all their gold

im having trouble with the armor pack it wont scal to my level. i have created so meany charictors and have level them up 20+ and the armor in the chest stayed at level 1 i have not open it till i got to level 20 please help :)
