Installing DLC help?
KOA says that I have downloadable content available in game.
So, I am trying to install the DLC stuff I have bought on steam. Not sure what I am doing wrong but from the main menu I navigate to DLC opinion within the game. It brings up the steam window for 3 DLCs, all of which I have bought. I click on one and it tells me to "install steam" or "play now"... When I click on "play now" all it does is start the game and again bring me back to main menu where it tell me that there is DLC available to download. I am logined to steam and have steam app on my computer... for some dumb reason steam recgonized that I am login in but does not recongize that I already have my steam app running, as it is giving me the option to download steam. > . <

I have also tried installing the DLC directly through stream and all it says is "play now" on the DLC's store page. Clicked "play now" andddd it tells me in game that there is downloadable content available. So the same thing happens.

It is leading me in circles without downloading and installing the DLC for KOA.

Ummmm I think that the DLC is already included in the game once you buy it, I don't think you have to install anything. Because when I bought the complete pack and started the game I ran into a DLC NPC.

I bought the main game a few month after it frist came out, before they had a "complete pack". I got it when it was on sale from it's original $59 price, before it was permitly marked down. I only bought the DLC within the past couple months though.

However if it is installed why is it telling me in game, in KOA's main menu, that there is DLC for me? Wouldn't it say instead that it is installed some where or that have it already instead of telling to go get the DLC? (which I already bought)

Its still saying the same thing for me as well, that the DLC is now available even though its already installed etc. It may be a bug with the game or something.

Alright, well maybe what I bought is installed then. Maybe it auto installed it when I bought without me selecting anything.

Thanks for confirming that
it's all good ! Apr 22, 2014 @ 6:20pm
You just have to start the quests ingame for the DLC to work, you should have Teeth of Narros & Dead Kel in your main quest line of your questlog.

I wasn't worried about whether the DLC was working as much as I frist looking to just install the DLC. I didn't think I had the content even installed yet. I was confuzed with all the signs on the main menu telling me I had downloadable content available when had bought the DLC. However, thanks for the heads up for letting me know what I am looking for so I know I have the DLC working correctly.

Give me a sec and I will check to see if it is in my quest then I will update this.
Edit:Yeah I have the quests. The main menu tricked me. :S

the main menu will say they are available for download even if you have the complete pack. i guess it is a bug. it will always say it even after you beat everything.
