Renewing Vendors?

As in the title, do the vendors ever restock??? I have never noticed a new stock after buying. Specifically in Rathir...

From what I can tell, vendors DON'T restock equipment, accessories, backpacks, or keys, but restock almost everything else. I know there are some really strange consumable items that certain vendors sell in Rathir, but since I've never bought them, I don't know if they restock them...

Yeah , i was hoping they would eventually restock weapons and armor randomly...but ive noticed thats not happening....

I know that lockpicks, repair kits, and herbs do restock. Maybe potions, not sure as I've only bought two, I make all mine. All the armor and weapons seem to be locked at the regional level (your level when you first entered an area), and do not restock. The merchant inventories do not seem to refresh in any general manner, as all that you've sold them stays available.

Health potions restock after a day or so (at least at the potion seller in Gorhart. I tend to buy health potions from her early on until I have the capability to make my own.)

They also restock crafting materials. But they do not restock unique weapons/armor or backpacks, that sort of thing.

Also the things the things they restock are fixed, they do not "level up" with the player. So if you are getting some tier 1 crafting materials but are high enough level to get tier 2 things in random loot, they will still only sell tier 1 materials.

In fact they will only the sell the same materials they had before, even after restocking. So you won't even get different tier 1 materials. Just more of the same ones they had.
