Re-Reckoning is the superior version. If you don't want to buy it, don't buy it.

It's the same game with some enhancements and balance fixes (and more expansions down the line), there was no point in keeping both versions.

I'm not going to get into the reasons why this version was taken down but you can buy this version on Origin if you want it.

Yeah, the new publishers mean the game was stripped from the store. EA probably had to choose between having no game on their store or at least getting a 30% cut. Deep Silver are some not very nice words.

nope not really check the store page, i got to this through my wishlist meaning its not added as an extra its brand new even the store page date has been reset to coming soon, was waiting forever for a sale now its probably not gonna get one for many more years nice oh well i can wait i guess already got enough games i still havnt played

They want people to buy the cashgrab remaster with no alternative.

I see, hmm, they might make more money by allowing people with older computers to buy the old version.

With all the things I've read about the performance of the remaster, I don't think I can run it at good fps.

you simply cant. no keys were ever made for it so if you dont have it then you can never get it.

The original Reckoning is great because it takes up little space, runs buttery smooth and loads incredibly fast on older computers.
