Quest request requires you to find 3 pieces of a staff. that were stolen and put back together.
Dark silver, Crack of dawn and The god fang. Was able to obtain all but The crack of dawn.
Found Purta who has it but wont give it to me or fight. Just says Leave before you feel my wrath. Then a couple of Trolls come along. Expected her to fight but she just walks away. Tried several times, no luck. Anybody run into this problem?

I've never run into that bug, but a check on the wiki reveals that you can get the Crack of Dawn from Purta if you pickpocket her.

Thanks, very interesting. who would have thought of that. It may be a little tough since I only have points in sage crafting, Blacksmith and Detecting
