The game is essentially dead. The sudio that developed it went bankrupts shortly after it was first released. The only ones making any money off the game now is Electronic Arts, who is the publisher, who likely sees no profit in adding any type of Steam workshop. There is only 1 or 2 third party Mods in existence for the game, that I am aware of (there may be more, but if there are, they are really well hidden...), and I have no idea if either Mods is si till working or updated.
Find and check h the subreddit for the game. You may find the Mod(s). You may find the Mod author(s). Maybe they will be kind enough to share what tools they used, if they used any, to creae their Mod(s). I've looked at the game files and the engine used. So has my husband, who is a very experienced Modder, we both have Mods on Nexus and ModDB for other games. Neither of us are willing to put the amount of time or work needed into making a Mod for a basically dead game that has no chance of more updates, content or a sequel.
Great game, nonetheless. But not one I would sink half a lifetime into making a Mod for. Go check reddit, see if you can find the Mod(s) that already exist.
Possibly some info here if you care to slog through these:

The heartcore mode is amazing there is also an enb graphics mode under guides here on steam and it makes the game look amazing, I swear it looks like it was made in the last few years.
Thank you so much for your response, will check it out
