To rephrase it with different words. In the resource files, the game has a set of 5 functions to give promotional items to your character, the functions are named:
- Dowsing Rod
- Fate-touched pack
- Destinies Pack
- Mass Effect Pack
- Dr. Pepper Pack (gives the items mentioned above)
The first 4 functions are related to well known promotions we can find information on the web. However, there's nothing about the Dr Pepper Pack and I was wondering if the devs mentioned something in the past.
I'm asking because I'm consolidating information to build a fansite.
- Dowsing Rod
- Fate-touched pack
- Destinies Pack
- Mass Effect Pack
through steam ?
The first 3 pack were bonuses for pre-ordering the game from some partner re-sellers. They are obviously not available anymore. However, I've seen some DLC codes on sell in ebay.
You can get the Mass Effect items by purchasing the game new (for Shepard's set) and playing Mass Effect 3 demo (for Omniblade daggers).
Dr Pepper pack is a mystery. It was abandoned but maybe devs said something aboutt it before.
i want high tech aliens to land bringing with them 25th century multi dimensional game implants
Afterwards, the devs added some of the Dr Pepper's items (Infernal Helm and Twinned Souls) as unlockable items for playing Reckoning demo.
Originally, playing Reckoning demo wasn't supposed to unlock Reckoning items (it was only supposed to give items for Mass Effect 3). This is why the dev cheat mode menu doesn't have any promotion related to the demo:

To reinforce this fact, the fire effect on the "Infernal Helm" item is internally named "Dr. Pepper Helmet Buff" in the game files.
It appears that the Shepard armor set was initially supposed to be gained by playing ME3 demo. The following link on EA confirms this info:
http://www2.ea.com/ca/news/38-studios-summons-a-demo-for-kingdoms-of-amalur-reckoning-and-unveils-exclusive-mass-effect-3-bonuses
Now, it might also mean that someone who purchased a used copy can still unlock the Shepard armor set by playing ME3 demo? Who knows...
How did you get this cheat screen up?
Operating on the assumption that's it not fake- the poster claims to have reverse engineered a Debug Mode for the game. My guess is he/she hex edited the executable, but who knows as they steadfastly refuse to share this information with the community.
