Thanks for at least being open to the idea. Count me in for a purchase if a Linux version is made.
A quick look at protondb - and my own experience after spending my money on that basis - says that the only problem with running the Windows build under Steam Play is that there's a video which blackscreens (but without freezing the UI, so you can skip the video and proceed to the game).
