I'll cross post this to discord and see if anyone wants to share.
We ran a multi-class challenge a few months ago - very interesting -

It proven one of those clean the whole map in combat mode. and recoil reduction proven to be a god's end.
Cyber-Knight-Scourge is one of those classes that can make the game really trival. cause of disolve 3 charges, and combo's easily with the E Rifle.
I really love the multiclass system in this game, also the skill tree's cause most people forget that certain traits pick have bonuses that are not obvious to most people.
STR pick with +2% build in armor, reaction with initiave. will with +2% accuracy buff etc.
Infact picking a alternate route just to pick up traits buff, is a fun experience. for single classes. multi classes are done for combination of active or passive skills.
Really love this kind of deep and meaningful combination of choices.
But a Vanguard function pretty well on it's own cause of the huge silenced Move Ability.
you can combo Vanguard with a Sniper for even more critical damage cause of the silence ability.
Vanguard Cyber Sword isn't useless cause it can stealth kill cause of the silence ability. just make sure you plot a alternate route even if you have to go way pointing around the victim line of sight.
There are no USELESS combo or FAILURES cause each class has one or more defining ability that most people do not recognise. that ability combo's into other classes.
So you can't go wrong with vanguards combinations cause it comes with a Jamkit Silence (increase movement and increase critical damage when enhanced) and a way to hide bodies. even if they still trigger 2 alert levels when the timer expire.
Loving to see this read on it - that was a big goal of ours. The multi-class meta is strong and as @jotwebe just listed, powerful reasons to pick so many different combinations.
