Settings Bug Crash Fix

As for NSUNS4, this game also has a bug.

The bug occurs when you open the settings menu and then close it without changing any settings. This causes the game to crash.

For the previous game, I had a config.ini file that I could use when the bug occurred. However, I don't know what to change in the config.ini file for the new game.

I have figured out what is causing the bug. It is related to laptop displays (or any custom resolution/higher refresh rate display).

If you are experiencing the same bug, you can try using the Win+P keyboard shortcut to change the display mode to "second screen only."

If you don't have a second screen, you can change the display resolution to something else. Then, open the game, change the settings as you like, and close the game. Next, go to the Steam library, right-click on the game, and select "Browse Local Files."

Change the display mode or display resolution (depending on the method you used).

Find the config.ini file and make a copy of it.

If the bug reappears, simply replace the original config.ini file with the copy.

Hey man I tried this but it still doesn't work. Or maybe I'm missing something idk. I play on laptop so I don't use second screen.

Hey, I tried your resolution solution (I don't have a second screen) but I still cannot modify the language (or anything else in the settings) without crashing. Can you explain it more clearly or if you have someting else ? Thank you

Try connecting laptop with some tv or friend display than do first method

I tried using a second screen and now it works. Finally I can play the game with japanese voice. Thanks a lot man.

Use TV as second monitor or take laptop and use friend's tv/monitor as second monitor just while setting up game

Try with TV just while setting-up a game
