Never played any past Naruto games

So I'm a little hesitant to buy it with the negative reviews, but the negative reviews appear to be more because this isn't a big leap from the past games. I was just hoping to have this game essentially have the newest mechanics while telling the story of all the past games. In that respect, does it do it well and should I go ahead and pull the trigger buying it? I also don't care about multiplayer, mainly just want to play the story.

Idk about the performance on pc since I bought it on PS5 and it is flawless there.

But if you never touched any UNS this is absolutely a must buy. It covers the whole story of Naruto and a totally new story for Boruto as well.

They redo some mechanics making it feel more like a true beat'em'up rn (you can also play in a "easy mode" where you can basically just spam one button to do some cool stuff).

Just be careful if you don't know Naruto that the very first cutscene of the story mode kinda spoils you a fight at the end of the saga. Also you have all chars unlocked by default (a LOT of char...) and they are a huge spoiler by themselves.

Anyway if you want to focus on the story be careful because, unlike the previous UNS, there is NO gameplay outside the fights. So basically you'll have some pics/narration about the story since the fight, maybe some cutscenes, and that's it. No more freeroaming and sidemissions.

It's a good game bro this generation is just filled with soft little weebs all of this information has been given since before the game launch. They pre order the game then complain about not being able to play with friends that's not the developers fault they literally said it on the website before launch that it will come out post launch. There's nothing wrong with the game, I'm not wealthy I have bills as well I woulda refunded this before reaching the 2 hour mark trust me! enjoy the game and have fun don't let these nerds ruin your fun they're all crying over their own lack of responsibility shoulda read the damn information on the game before pre ordering it just to cry about it in reviews. Yes the new mechanics are good yes it has all of the story of the previous naruto storm games and yes it has a new boruto story and you will be able to play with friends as soon as they update the game for now you can fight randoms online just like storm 4.

If you don't mind multiplayer then you're WAY better off buying storm trilogy and storm 4 with boruto expac. You will get way way way way better experience and pay like 16 euro for all of them.
This game replaces really pretty cutscenes with lazily done static images,removes few bossfights and simplifies everything. It's a joke,not a proper single player mode capturing the whole story of the Naruto.
The only thing that resembles some of the quality that past games had is their new fanfic boruto story,but that's not 60 euro worth of content.
Strongly reconsider getting this cashgrab
