Or maybe, just maybe, they should release this as DLC for UNS4 for like 15e. They reused everything from that game and they just added few characters. If there was a game picture for the rip off meaning i am 100% sure we would have this game picture. I much rather go and play NUNS4 then to spend 60e+ on DLC for that game

even though the varity of new content is few the game feels like a fresh page for me unlike storm 4 witch did terrible at launch connections runs like butter from day 1 as someone ho played previous storm games i liked this game a lot sure it has some flaws but the hate is just absurd if you ask me i mean it could have been better but to be honest it is fine as it is

Remember 2 years ago when they released dlc for storm 4 and everyone complained they should have made a new game instead?
The real reason to hate this game is because they didn't fix the online so every match is against someone lag switching. The funny part is there's daily missions and log in bonuses like they thought anyone will be playing this after 2 months

if you read most of the reviews its from people with not even an hour in the game. people claiming they refunded when they didn't and people complaining about performance.

that does equal review bombing. if people stopped trying to play this game on a smart calculator then maybe the performance be better. mine is working perfectly fine, max settings 1440p 60fps on a 1080. obvious troll review if they claim they refunded a game they didn't or didn't get past the main menu

lag switching? what? just because you lose a round doesn't equal lag switching. I've played over 6 hours exclusively online matches, all completely fine and lag free.
dunno where you are but europe has no "lag switching" even playing open and a few people in NA very minor delays vs people with red pings and completely playable

storm 1-

Had-
open world leaf village with interactions, story board and side missions characters appeared in the over world to do them before fights, ninjutus clashes was a thing.

storm 2-

removed- ninjutus clashes and big leaf village model,

Added/ and went for liner open world with drawn backgrounds less interactions then storm 1. but story flowed as you traveled making it good. the cutscenes for game was top tier and looked as crisp as the main world and fights. combat vastly improved. (could replay first game as history mode)- added end game content in main hub world

Improved- Overall combat but should kept ninja clashes


Storm 3-
Removed- some features from storm 2
Improvements combat improved vastly, and main story did focus on- added nice side quest as well as end game content. (history mode focuses on 1 and storm 2.
added - in hero and legends mode.

storm 4-
Removed/Replaved- free roam from main story due to main war, Model cutscenes for 2D cutscnes for most part, CGI cutscnes went up and down in quality.

Subjgated free roam to- side story after main story and included borutos to.
Forced you to pay money for boss characters that should been in boruto DLC.

unlocked all characters from start allowing no reward like previous games

Combat had improved in some areas, went bad in others.

Nothing new was added to storm 4, all new things consisted of removing old things and downgraded the game.

Storm connections-

Removes all asspects from 1-4 and replaces it with

History mode found in all 4 games prior,
and a Liner storm mode for boruto where you cant even walk around village stuck to sit in as cutscenes go to have 1 fight then more cutschenes.

2. all characters usable from start making progression of unlocking out window.
after half hour in i see no reason to play game there no reward for doing any of history or boruto gameplay accept cosmetics and you can unlock them just by leveling up your characters in free mode. its a downgrade

Not sure what your issue is but i've had only 1 "laggy" match in 6 hours, and that was the NA with 1 bar but it was more that playable, less than a second delay

regardless of where you are its a default of the game.

Idk? Git gud? if you don't like the changes, fair enough, its personal opinion.
i've had very little trouble with "stun lock spammers" because i'm not spamming the sub button
