You cant play 2 player coop in free battles??

I am trying to play locally with a friend. He is playing my keyboard and I am on the controller. He wants to join but when you click the button to join as the second player, the exact button is bound to the menu/options button. This means every time he trys to join he goes into the menu/options. In short he will never be able to play???

facing the same issue here dammit. Game thinks controller and keyboard are the same.

keybaord and controler isnt recommended as it does not work both of you need a controller you prob could get it to work u may need ot jump thur phew hoops but its not recommended to do local battle with a keyboard and controller its not good but you should reword your post so ppl dont get ocnfused

cause they are there is no p2 keybaord you can cheat this by haveing a 2nd contorller put it as p2 then have firend use keybaord like that

this worked in all previous games. 1 keyboard and 1 controller. It should work here as well.

Yes this works on Storm 4. I was playing with my friend doing the same just before the release of connections. When connection installed we could no longer play it with keyboard and controller!!!!
