Money tower gold nerf
I would like to request a reversion from the 1.9.4 Money Tower nerf. Now that the passive gold tick has been removed, there is no reason to build this tower. Maybe things would be a bit better if the boost to Money's damage multiplier as stated in the patch notes had actually increased, but it didn't (at least the tooltip says it didn't.)

I just don't see the point in the tower without the passive gold gain. That was the reason I liked and built the tower. Of course we all try to ply efficient and save our gold. Haste out-performs it until I have 30k gold saved up at which time I could just buy 6 more hastes.

The gold tick was a fun strategy, trying to get the tower quick as possible and build/upgrade the correct number of them so i wasn't too heavy on them to where if I didn't save gold they couldn't kill anything vs building other towers to compensate for their weaknesses. Now, it's like, "Meh, they aren't that great. I'll just build something else."

I just checked and this was a huge oversight on my part. The damage multiplier was indeed not increased as it should have been. This will be fixed in 1.9.5.1. Thank you for bringing it up!

Glad to have helped in some small way.

I am guessing the gold generation has no chance of coming back since you didn't speak to it. Maybe it was causing some problems somewhere along the line.

I'll try the new damage when it goes live.

Thank you for this thread. I thought I was going insane when I looked at the income and there was no money from the moneytowers after building a bunch of them. They do also still have a buff that tells you how much money they made. That should be removed also i think.

Why does eco keep getting nerfed? Are we not supposed to actually afford stuff ever?

The money tower may need another buff. But having it part of eco was problematic. That said, we did buff the Interest pick % and will probably do so again next patch. Furthermore, next patch I would expect mainly buffs to damage towers.

I mean you say you buffed interest but if you don't want to subject yourself to the sweaty meta of selling everything constantly, it's of little use to pick it because it may amount to 1-2% of the money you make ever

If you brought back the old economy pick, before the extra gold on kills was removed, it'd be better across the board. Sure it becomes a near mandatory pick, but it enables actually experimenting with other things instead of just doing whatever works best but is stale
