Ladder-Cheater?

Well, since some weeks there is the same techtree in the top rankings of most maps, and after I still wondered, how to get to wave 68, for example on forest, I exactly copied the techtree including same build positions as testing on bosswaves, and what can I say. It doesnt fit the thing even close: Wave 64 was the maximum. So: Are the top players cheater or what the hell should I did wrong in an exactly 1:1 copy build?

Hmm, did you also have all the towers leveled-up to the same level they did? I'd be surprised if you were able to do that part, because Boss Hunt doesn't give you as much gold as you can theoretically earn by starting at wave 1 and capitalizing on interest.

By starting bosshunt only, u have infinite money and all elements. So i watched on my second screen the original and looked what all he build bevor wave 56 start. I did the same. I also refreshed my towers if the player in original build new towers on continious waves. It worked smootly because I made slow speed to play, also often pausing to check if I missing something. Like I said: I copied exactly his elements, his towers + position. It was an exactly copy of the original. And, the result is mentioned like before: I got to wave 64, he to wave 68. And the difference by hitpoints between 64-68 is HUGE.

"By starting bosshunt only, u have infinite money" - Not me. The only way I know to start a Boss Hunt is via Single Player -> Survival -> Standard -> Length = Boss Hunt. When I do that I am given 125,000 gold at the start of wave 56. No more no less. Do you have mods installed or something? Or am I not understanding how you're starting Boss Hunts with infinite money?

Boss hunt is only an approximation of the gold you would get by playing the game normally. That's why it does not submit to leaderboard. A very good player would likely reach wave 56 with more gold.

Also, copying the tower and position is not enough. Did you take the time to check each and every tower for the target priority that they set?

I just tried again. Placed down about 15 Tesla trees, then suddenly "Insufficient funds" and couldn't place another one.

Are you on the wrong game forum or something?

Guys no one is trolling. But the leaderboards have been wiped so it's all a moot point.

Fake. I tested all towers for a table for damage, so u can place entire map with teslas before wave 56 start. Well, u are a trol.

Well, I will check it out in the new leaderbords, but a difference between wave 64-68 - millions of hitpoints in difference as u know as dev, i really assume it will doesnt matter. I will see.

I may have gotten to the bottom of this. In addition to selecting Boss Hunt for the length, there's a checkbox called God. It's starting to look like you've enabled that.

At any rate, best of luck to you with the new leaderboards. And as the dev mentioned, don't forget to check their towers' target priority this time.
