What is it with Neptune and amnesia?

I love the premise of the Neptunia universe, only issue is that I tried the series right after playing Trails of Cold Steel 1 and 2.... I think that was a mistake. ^^;

I need to get Rebirth reinstalled methinks, I have a lot of titles to catch up on before considering this one!

A mean person would say that amnesia is a tool often used by inexperienced writers so they don't need to worry about keeping a coherent timeline, characterisation and canon. :x

Well every adventure starts off with Nep meteoriting head first into the ground. At some point that should lead to amnesia.

Its just part of the franchise and its charm; like Noire being the official landing spot for any falling out of the sky Nep.

its a staple of the series kinda like the ys series where he always wakes up on some damn island every game just how it is and if you are a fan then not an issue if not why the hell would you even buy the game lol.

um ya not sure why we associate it this much with her. she actually only got it once in main games, even spin off wise this only makes two times. some point at the whole she doesnt remember this character or event but that is do to there being multiple worlds that have their own cannons. depending on the first part of the name hyper, mega whatever its a different world, hyper is the main one but the first game got retconed out of it makking its own world. mega is kind a main one as well. but ya each wold has their own nep blan vert and noire. so ya. now other characters do lose memories and it is used a good bit, but most times its actually explained or even the character was just faking it.
