Once you register a team in a competition... you can't use it anymore???!!

Yes, another thread from me, the noob.

Yesterday, testing things about competitions against the AI, I created a custom team, changed all the names and customization (took some damn time)...

...then just tested it in a single custom competition to check if i can get warpstone in single player custom competition (which i didn't by the way... so i don't find those supposed PVE game modes that gives warpstone)...

...then deleted the competition my team was in....

...and now, i cannot use this team anymore in any other competitions?? (it became "experienced??!!) Not even in competitions against the AI (AKA Facking SINGLE PLAYER!!!) What the heck is this??

I have a very pretty team, with nice names and customization... that doesn't have any use anymore...

WTH made this design decisions??? Am i too lost or the thing is i have to create a team from scratch for any competition i want to play???

If at least you could copy+paste everything... but making a the same team over and over again??

Not sure about if the names and such all save (I assume they do) but in team creation you can make template teams and start from those templates in team creation. Give that a try. But yeah, the UI and menus and general navigation/flow of design/play in this game are terrible. I thought street fighter 6 had terrible menu/UI, but this takes the prize.

But what is the point of creating a team and not being able to use more than one time/competition?

What am i doing wrong? This doesn't make anysense. I cannot use this team in official competition nor in new custom competitions made by me.

EDIT: I saw the template bottom down in the UI. It would have been fine if the game teachs you that you have to save templates before playing anything.

Anyway, i don't really see the point of having to start over and over again, once you play in a single competition.

Fair point for private leagues and single player, but the reason you are typically locked is because you could play with your pals or abuse the AI and dominate, giving all your players huge skill ups and making a very powerful team, then join online and jump in at a team that is way more powerful and levelled with no injuries compared to other teams it may be matched against. For this reason, most game types only allow fresh teams or teams that meet specific criteria.

You are right though for when its private leagues or vs AI/single player. If you set up your own league/event you can set the criteria, and in blood bowl 2 one of the criteria was o allow experienced teams. I am not sure what BB3 options are as I don't create leagues.

Yep, i thought it had something to do with playing online, but with PVE? Doesn't make anysense.

BTW, as far as i can see, there's no way of gaining warpstone in PVE, so seems that this thing about teams, templates and experiences will not be a problem anymore for me. I'm done with this game.

you can use custom teams, experienced teams in any of your own created leagues or leagues created by friends that allow it. I suggest you join the discord and ask there , you will get a much better and detailed answer. The official ladder and official competitions no you cannot and that will never change. Fresh teams only, otherwise it would just be silly having stacked teams coming into ladder.

I'm eagerly waiting for the next installment of this franchise and see how they fack it next time.
