unlocking new teams

i thought about getting blood bowl 3 since its on sale, was wondering ive heard that new teams are added every season or so. how would i unlock a new team when the season ends?

Possible to grind in theory but it might take decades in practice. Free and earned sources of Warpstone include:

you can buy any team from former seasons with in-game currency. There has been multi teams specials as well. For the ongoing season you can either unlock the blood pass with 1000 warpstones (currency) to get the team right away or complete the blood pass without buying it to get the team for free

ah okay... thats rough cuz i dont see myself playing the game enough to buy & complete a blood pass.

That's fair. It is a significant time commitment.

There may be future discount bundles for already released teams, and there's probably enough Warpstone in the Manager Progression rewards to buy some of those. (I can never see the prices for the bundles since I already own the teams).

That's fair. It is a significant time commitment.

There may be future discount bundles for already released teams, and there's probably enough Warpstone in the Manager Progression rewards to buy some of those. (I can never see the prices for the bundles since I already own the teams).

Manager progression will earn you warpstone for about 1 team. The rest you'll have to buy with money.

The game still comes with 12 basic teams, and those are pretty solid and contain several that are one of the best teams in the game. It's about variety and access to more interesting to play options, not pay to win. Also, BP costs about 10$ and on purchase it unlocks the current team immediately. It's not huge amount of money to spend once per 3 months.

i mean yea... but again i dont see myself playing enough, also personal preference id rather not have to spend more money on a game once ive already bought it unless its dlc with substantial new content
