Switch account from console to PC

Previously it was connected to Xbox, at the account administration page I unlink the existing xbox entry, but still can not login in game on steam - it said that account does not support the cross platform progress. Is it possible to switch account somehow, or completely delete it, to link to the same email address?

Unfortunately the accounts are not cross-platform (the game is crossplay between players playing on different platforms), you will not be able to transfer an XBox account to PC.

You have to create a new in-game account (on PC), you can't use the same email address, but you can with an email alias.
